Chelsea have extended their lead at the top of the Premier League to 13 points following a 3 - 1 win over Stoke although Tottenham have a game in hand against Southampton.
Conte was without Hazard for the clash but he made to forget his worries as Willian scored a wonderful free-kick from an acute angle to give Chelsea the lead.
Though one could wonder if Lee Grant could have done better with the effort from the Brazilian.
Stoke though they had equalized when Bruno martins Indi scored with a header but Saido Berahino was adjudged to have pushed Ceaser Azpilicueta in the build up.
The teams were level when Jonathan Walters scored from a penalty after Gary Cahill was penalized for pushing the Potters striker in the box.
Walters who once missed two penalties in a game against Chelsea shot high up into the net to draw the teams level.
Conte changed his much-vaunted 3-4-3 formation to a 4-2-3-1 to supply more bodies forward and he was duly rewarded as Cahill scored with just three minutes left.
